Vetting & Verification Process

If you have already been vetted by TheMixx, this section does not apply to you. Vetting is a one-time requirement; once you are a vetted member, you no longer need to vet for any of our future events.

This section is detailed for a reason. Please read through it carefully to ensure a smooth verification process.

The Standard Vetting Process

After attending a vetting session, we run a background check using your provided information. This process typically takes 1-2 days.

  • IDs are required during all remote and in-person vettings.
  • No news is good news: If you do not hear from us within 1-2 days, you are vetted and approved. If we find that you are not compatible with our events, we will reach out to let you know immediately.
  • We do not accept vettigns from other hosts or venues in the area. The only exceptions to our standard in-person or remote vetting are listed below.

How to Get Vetted

  • In-Person: In-person vetting and social events can be found in our Events section under “TheMixx Vetting”.
  • Remote: Remote vetting is conducted via our Discord Server.

Instructions for Unvetted Guests

If you are unvetted and wish to attend an event, you must reach out to us with the following:

  1. Your full First and Last Name (This is strictly for screening/background checks. We prefer you use an alias at our events, though you may use your real name if you choose).
  2. The Event Keyword (This is hidden within the rules on the specific event page you wish to attend).
Important Note on RSVPs: These steps are required regardless of whether your RSVP status is “Interested” or “Going”. If we notice an individual habitually RSVPing to our events as “Interested” with no intention of actually attending or going through the vetting process, you will be permanently removed.

Vetting Exceptions & Vouching

While in-person or remote vetting is our standard, we do make limited exceptions. However, your First and Last name and the Event Keyword are ALWAYS required, regardless of your exception status.

Exceptions to the in-person/remote meeting requirement are ultimately at the discretion of TheMixx associates and include:

1. Trusted Individuals If you are a trusted individual known personally by BB_Ty or TheMixx associates, the in-person/remote meeting is waived.

2. Friends of Boise101 We feel confident in the information Boise101 provides to the community in their classes, and they only friend individuals who have attended. If they are on your friend list, we may make an exception to the meeting requirement. This is not a blanket exception; we still consider factors such as your interactions with us and your profile presence.

3. Vouched Members New members can be vouched for by an existing member, bypassing the need to attend a vetting event.

  • Who can vouch? Vetted members who have attended our events and are in favorable standing, or individuals in the lifestyle whom we know personally and trust to assess the behavior of the person they are vouching for.
  • Note: All vouches are tentative.

Have an Exception?

Individuals who fall under these exceptions simply need to provide their first and last name, the event keyword, and their prepayment to attend the event. You will be screened, and once cleared, you are good to attend!
